拍摄花絮： 该片开场满神和小倾城对话的场景是在2000平米的北影厂2号棚拍摄的，是亚洲最大的摄影棚。

影片**现的海棠精舍是在云南****实地搭建拍摄的，但第一次花费200万元搭建的建筑还没完成，就发生了**质量问题而无法使用。影片**现的是第二次搭建的。影片中大部分数字特效镜头都是香港先涛数码完成的，但后来先涛数码因故撤出了该片的后期制作，开头牦牛谷战役中的特技镜头，是由摄影鲍德熹带人完成的。
